School News Year 2 Riddles

Year 2 have been writing riddles here is one:
Q = I have 2 colours, I eat bamboo and I can be found in China

World News: Blue Peter Mascot Competition


Ellie, who is 7yrs old, won the Blue Peter competition for creating the two mascots for the para-athletics event in London. 

The mascots are called wizbee the bee and hero the hedgehog. one of the mascots is going to be the para-athletics mascot and the other will be for the iaaf championship. 

They were selected from over 4,000 entries from all over the uk. 



World News: New Flying Machine

New Flying machine takes a flying start

This is a bit of a short story but I thought that it was too EPIC to not share anyway.
Would you fancy getting on a huge drone with eight propellers and flying to school on it? I know I would. Well hopefully in the next few years you will be able to.

School News: A testing time

 A testing time...


Year 2 and 6 are currently preparing for SATs. The tests for Year 6 will start on the 8th May and end on the 11th May. SATs are end of year tests that year 2 and 6 do.
